Egyptian Pomegranate Export

Pomegranates · Egypt

Pomegranate is an autumn export crop for us, not a year-round SKU. We pack medium to large fruit with a blocky shape, intact rind, and red arils that still have crunch and a sweet-tart flavour after the cold chain. The season is September to November from our Egyptian farms. Importers who already buy Egyptian pomegranate are usually arguing about calibre, colour, and split fruit — we pack to keep rinds closed and arils usable. If you need a defined autumn line alongside mango tail-end or early citrus, this is the fruit; it will not be stretched into summer.

  • September to November only

We do not pretend pomegranate is evergreen. The commercial window is autumn, and volumes follow the orchard.

  • Arils and rind, not just size

Fruit is selected for intact skin and red, crunchy arils — splits and over-maturity are packing defects, not a cheaper grade we push.

  • Wholesale autumn programmes

Packed for importers and distributors who can sell a seasonal pomegranate, including foodservice and retail aril programmes downstream.

Pomegranates export, answered

When is Egyptian pomegranate season at Apricot Export?
September to November. Contact us for weekly forecasts; the crop is seasonal and not packed outside that window.
What size pomegranates do you export?
Medium to large fruit with a round, block-like shape. Exact calibre bands are confirmed against the packing spec on each programme.
Do you export pomegranate arils or only whole fruit?
We pack whole fruit for export. Aril processing, if required, is a downstream conversation with the receiver — our job is sound whole fruit in the cold chain.
