Awais Mango
Awais (often searched as Owais) is the Egyptian mango many local palates consider the benchmark: high aroma, low fibre, and a sweet finish that needs little explaining on a retail shelf. It is less of a long-storage cultivar than Tommy Atkins or Keitt, so we pack it for programmes that can move fruit promptly after arrival. Importers targeting ethnic retail, specialist grocers, and foodservice dessert lines typically ask for Awais first. Season runs June to September from our Egyptian orchards.
