Navel Orange
Oranges · Export variety
Egyptian navel oranges are the eating orange we pack for export: sweet flavour, seedless, and easy to peel, which is why they remain a winter retail standard. We cultivate primarily for export rather than local wet-market mix, with the season opening in December and running through March. That window is the classic northern-hemisphere counter-season fill for many European and Asian programmes. Navels are for fresh eating, not a juicing spec — Valencia covers juice later in the year. Ask for Egyptian navel when you need a seedless, easy-peel orange with a documented harvest start in December.
