Valencia Orange
Oranges · Export variety
Valencia is our late Egyptian orange, packed from February to May for juice and fresh eating after the navel season. Fruit is medium-sized with a fragrant, somewhat rough rind; flesh is juicy and tender with a small seed count (typically one to six) and a balanced sweet-tart flavour. Importers who run juice lines, or retail that still wants oranges after navels finish, brief Valencia by name. We grow it as an export cultivar, not a leftover from the navel programme. If your factory or retail calendar needs Egyptian orange past March, Valencia is the variety on the contract.
